Funny how jumping onto the Habs bandwagon turned you into a giant delta bravo.

2 things that have always bothered me about the NHL...
1. It's the only sport where the rules change game to game...period to period.
2. The cultural belief that the referee decides a game if a PP decides the game...the saying is 'let the players decide it'...if a player does something stupid deliberately knock the net off, that is a player deciding to potentially hurt is team...just as a player getting a step on a defenseman, causing him to take a tripping penalty or something is indeed the players deciding the game.

Is it just me or has about 70% of this series been played in the Montreal end?

I beg to differ. The NBA rules changes play to play. One time it's a foul, one time it is not. Can't really take them seriously.

I wonder if at some point some credit is given to Montreal here. They've had the lead most of the game in every game so far, takes more than luck and reffing to get there.
Bruins really need to find another gear somewhere. I don't see them coming back from 3-1 deficit in this series. It's clear the Habs know how to skin the bear, and if you give them three shots to end the series, they'll take one of them.

FYI I could care less who wins. If Boston wins I'm happy for Iginla, if Montreal wins I'm happy Boston is out.
I'm a Flames fan.

I'm puzzled as to how a Flames fan can be happy if Montreal wins? Must be an anomaly.

Fair enough...I don't watch every sport so I shouldn't make dramatic claims such as that... I does bother me that the rules in the NHL change depending in the context of the game and/or period

The Subban play with the net was delay of game any way you slice it. No debate; brutal non-call.
But whatever, Bruins need to elevate their game and I'm sure they will.

A personal attack for that? Seems a bit needless. Ordinarily we do cheer for the same team.

We go through this every playoffs. Some of us actually cheer for Canadian teams. I'd be cheering for the Habs even if they didn't have a single Canadian player. I'm allowed to cheer for the Habs just as much as someone can cheer for Iginla or Regehr. It doesn't make me any less of a Flames fan.

If the Bruins were holding a 3-2 lead and Chara knocked the net off like Subban did, Canadiens fans would be calling the police.

Yup.
But, like I said, there are not many referees that wouldn't be looking for any way to weasel their way out of calling a penalty shot in that situation so as to avoid "determining the outcome of the game". It would have been a different call if there was a shot on net or a play in the crease though.

Refs have been bad all playoffs, too afraid to call penalties in the last few minutes, especially against the home team - Subban doesn't push the net off if they actually call penalties throughout the whole game.

Considering the lack of reaction from the Bruins, I would say that nobody who plays the game thought it was cause for a penalty shot.
Obviously accidental.

I will be happy if Montreal wins but also like Boston. My dad was a Habs fan and I would have likely become one too if we didn't move to Calgary when I was young. I always cheer for them after Calgary has been eliminated.
I have also liked Boston ever since I got NHL centre ice years ago and they were one of the only teams to have all their games in HD. They have some players I like, play an exciting rough style, and stopped Vancouver from winning the cup. I still don't get liking Boston just because of Iginla but I guess he is still popular in Calgary and people want to see him win a cup.

Also, PK Subban is amazing. He is possibly the most exciting player in the league.

During the intermission on TSN, Kerry Fraser is going to tell us why Subban shouldn't have been called.
