Those green St Patrick's Day jerseys really stand out in the crowd, and do they ever look stupid.

I'm glad the Flames have never done that.

Not sure how Hossa didn't bury that, but nice clean up from Toews.

I know there is a long way to go but I'll be surprised if it isn't Boston and Chicago in the finals again. Chicago is coming into form.

Ditto. Add in the fact that if Chicago gets past Minnesota then they play the winner of LA/ANA, what promises to be a brutal series, the winner of that one will likely be spent.

Same with Boston, presuming they get past Montreal they play the winner of NYR/PIT. If its Pittsburgh I imagine thats a 50/50 call, but if its NYR I cant see them not advancing.

Then again, if Montreal beat Boston I would call a MON/NYR series fairly even.

Chicago is such a beauty of a team, sure hope they win the Cup again, they are a textbook team, skilled, fast, a bit of size but not some weird obsession with size. Such a great team.

Anyone else find themselves just sort of cheering for "overtime" in games you don't really care about?

All these crazy comebacks and...

goddamnit Bickell scored

What a shot by Bickell. 3-1 Hawks.

Edit: Saad gets the ENG. 4-1.

Bryz has to make that last stop. Maybe he was rattled by Bickell's crossbar earlier?

Yeah, great shot. Over the defenceman's legs too. I don't know if any goalies could have stopped it -- and Bickell beat him (but not the crossbar) about 2 minutes earlier almost exactly same way but opposite site. Guess he was due!

My kid was so disappointed. He finally got to watch a whole game - all the other games end way past his bedtime and he's such a big Wild fan. He said partway through the third period when it was 2-1 "I don't think Minnesota can beat Chicago. They're just too good." (he's 5). I gotta agree... going to be a tough sell to win four of the next six.

I agree completely. I want them to be the template for future playoff success, not the hulks.

12 goals against on 67 shots over three games now for Bryzgalov.
(Not counting the one save game against Colorado, which is his only "win").

That's a new low even for his already low playoff standards.

EDIT: Not that it made much of a difference, you're not likely to beat Chicago with only goal scored.

I agree, who thought to put NASCAR on TSN2 when there is an obvious potential conflict that could happen and did. The worst part is that TSN's ticker reminded people to see the game on TSN online and TSN GO. They failed to inform viewers that the game was on RDS and could have mentioned that it was on NBC. It was two or three years ago that the CBC had a conflict and MacLean did tell viewers that the game was on NBC. More complaints coming TSN's way.

Yea i have been bit by TSN earlier in the week so i just PVR'd the NBC coverage to make sure i had the game. I suppose with hockey moving to Rogers, TSN is going emphasize the NBA for the time being.
