Haven't really been following the series but surprised to see people cheering for the american team... is that Albertan hate on for Quebec or the Iggy storyline?
I like the Boston's style more, it's simple as that.
Fun fact: At one point (1300s?), the Dutch were Britain's main enemy. Brits called them frogs since they were seen as swamp/marsh-dwellers. Makes sense. Once France became the main British rival, they just transferred the name over to them instead of thinking of a new one.
Probably also because they eat frogs, which actually taste a bit like chicken wings - give them a shot if you ever see them on a menu.
I wouldn't call dominating the opposition and capitalizing on your breaks "cheap".
Getting outshot by 7 shots is being dominated now? The Bergeron goal was definitely a lucky bounce, not sure how anyone can argue that one.
As for the guy throwing frog around, is there a slang name he can share for PK? Something quick that would easily identify a distinguishing characteristic about the guy.

I don't. I dislike how the Bruins play hockey. Create scrums after all the whistles. Cheapshot opponents when necessary. Dive when it suits you. To me they're essentially a tougher version of the Vancouver Canucks. There's no need to punch people after every single whistle.

Because shots are all that matter when looking at who was the better team .
The Bruins were the better team and dominant for 50 minutes. The other 10 minutes it was a slight edge to Montreal.
I guess Montreal is improving since they were dominated the entire first game.

Happy go-lucky?

You need to watch the game, habs were definitely the better team in the first 10 minutes of the second don't ya think?
I did watch the game. Set my alarm just to watch the joy of Montreal getting trampled. And yeah I agree they were better in the first 10 minutes of the second which is why I said they dominated for 50 minutes and Montreal was the better team for 10 minutes....

I sure hope you're not relying on a shot count to make your argument against mine because that's going to make for a very flimsy dialogue. I don't believe anyone other than Sven is saying that the Bergeron goal wasn't a lucky bounce. I broadly acknowledged as much in the post you quoted.

I don't think. And even if your claim is perceptually true, when does 10 minutes of being the better team out of 60 not constitute being dominated?
The Bruins have overwhelmingly controlled the play in this series. Montreal has been able to cash in on the minority of chances they have gotten and up until about the 8 minute mark of the third period this morning Boston has been stifled and frustrated by some pretty incredible goaltending.

How about the first 10 minutes of the third when the Bruins did not have a single shot? Is that one of those examples you speak of when shots do not matter? Were the Bruins dominating then even without getting a single shot on goal?
Boston is simply the better team. Montreal has had their number recently in the regular season for whatever reason, and has carried over early on.. sometimes it's a mental thing, but Montreal's make up doesn't compare and that'll show as the series goes on and the Bruins shake off the Habs bug. They're figuring them out just like they did the Wings.
Chara seems injured and that's probably why they won't get the cup this year. They'll get by Montreal and Pittsburgh but not LA or Chicago. Bruins with Chara playing less than half his potential doesn't give them a great chance against the western teams.

The west is so much better than the east, east only has a chance if the team from the west is severely beatup coming out of the first three rounds.
