He's who I would be leaning towards if we're going after inactive posters.

True, I can see how it looked like a panicked mafia member. Like I said, I caught up on all of that by reading it all after it had happened, so I suppose I didn't have the chance to really process it in the moment like you did.

Transplant 99's vote sure does seem a lot more suspicious now. Not a lot of activity before he threw his vote out there.

I noticed that last game Mafia were always quick to defend their lack of posting with real-life events getting in the way as an excuse.

That may be selective memory though.

Transplant is who my vote is with right now.

Of the Pile on votes on Ineed he is the only one to not come back and explain why he jumped on the train.

Anyone want to vote ActiveStick? I still have some pretty hefty suspicions about him, he's only got 5 posts, and 2 or 3 of them weren't even game related really.

Puh-leeeeease?

Yes, this was definitely true. HalifaxDrunk and Aeneas always had a reason why they couldn't defend themselves or post. They're both posting a ton this game.

The problem that we suspected would happen and likely has, is that we can throw out almost every suspicious posting style from last game, as mafia, and townies for that matter, will be completely cognizant of what creates suspicion, and avoid it.

Like for example, if you take HD and Aeneas and say "Well, they posted minimally and oddly last game, now they post frequently and have lots of content", you can't necessarily say "so therefore, they're likely townies, this time".

I think it could be dangerous for us to use "last game" as a basis. Many of us had never played last game. I am sure there are action/inaction that we wished we had not done. Many of us should be slightly more educated this time around.

I totally agree with you... just throwing it out their since there is the possibility later on that it might make the difference.

Agreed, reference to last game should be taken with a grain of salt.

There has been a lot more posting this time around as well which makes it really hard to catch up if you have been away. I have found myself opening a second tab to comment on something a few pages back several times. Most of the time I catch up to find that someone else has already made my point so I thank them instead.

I don't know if we can count that, but almost every post I have thanked has been a post I was thinking of making or a good point that I didn't consider. Someone who isn't saying much but still thanking posts should be seen as contributing in my mind.

I was just listed as one of the lowest number of posts, now I am posting a ton?

On the other hand, there are many new players that may have not researched what happened last game, are winging it - and may make the same mistakes/tells.

Like everything in this game, it goes both ways.

Okay, I'm willing to go with Transplant, unless he has something compelling to say when he checks in next.

What was the reason people were voting forhmmhmmcamo, again? Was it legit suspicion or fairly random? If there was legit suspicion, I don't want leave him be in favor of lynching a random low post count guy first.

At this rate, the last 10 players will have 10,000 posts to sift through.

Inactivity? Guilty as charged...this thing called work kind of gets in my way...and no i dont sit indoors around a computer all day, or at all for that matter, unless working from home at that time.

I am around for most of the weekend at this point however...but several peoples reasoning has me just shaking my melon.
