Wow had a pretty lucky run.. 4 legendaries including 2 weapons, and 2 set items in two rifts.
Unfortunately the legendary weapons were 2H (playing my Wizard, thanks) and one a duplicate bracer, and the set items were Blackthorne chest and duplicate boots!
And all but one legendary were after killing the rift boss

Just realized I've never posted my profile here before. Here it is!
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/G.../hero/41224034
The DPS sheet means almost nothing for a DoT WD. I efficiently run T2 right now. Haven't tried T3 since there's really no need. The pay off just isn't worth it. Maybe when 2.05 is out I'll give it a shot. Actually most of the time I just run T1. With locusts, I just cast it once and it clears everything on screen. Then Spirit Barrage for elites. In T2 I use piranahdo and haunt a bit more. Piranahdo for crowd control and haunt for health boost. But I still very rarely die. Spirit walk and Spirit vessel make me pretty sturdy heh.

I found an Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac...it made me squee a little inside. It wasn't an upgrade though. =/ Good night for Legendary rings.

Edit, I would be running rifts, collecting shards and trying my best for a better mojo. But that is just my two cents.

Sad thing is that I did upgrade my mojo recently lol
Actually because I'm a DoT WD, Crit dam and crit chance are essentially useless because it's based on cast and not on DoT ticks. So ruby is the way to go there, and why the sheet DPS is kinda pointless to even analyse. I go lots of int and damage increase where I can. Also attack speed. Rumour is IAS does impact the tick speed for DoT. Though I've never actually tested it.
I'll start chasing up mojos (would like a Thing of the Deep or something) once I roll a Tasker and Theo for my pet build.
Edit: One change I'm gonna try this weekend is swapping Spirit Vessel passive for Pierce the Veil to get my swarm damage up even more! Right now it takes about 3-4 seconds in T2 for a white monster to die after cast. See if I can get that to go down even more.

Hey Photon, why is your 53% crit chance too high? I upgraded mine to 57% last night and I was facerolling T1.
Not sure what my resistances are, I'll check tonight.

There's a bit of a discussion earlier in the thread, they seem to say that a 10:1 ratio is optimal (so 50% hit would mean 500% damage), but I'm not worrying so much about that until I get to a point where my gear is mostly set.
I got the first piece of the set that gives Archon all the runes woo!

Pants. Am not using them yet as they're a bit of a downgrade without the bonus, and I'll have to reroll them a bit if I want to keep my +% Elecrocute Damage (or do Lightning instead or whatever). Still don't have many Forgotten Souls so don't want to go rerolling Legendaries or Sets until I know I'm going to use it.
Also got my first bottomless potion.

Woo got the chest for Vyr's set!
Not sure what to do for the gems tho.
I read that resist and armor should be around 10:1 ratio?
EDIT: Oh and that 1.5% crit chance, gonna have to reroll that into something more useful, that's sad.

Don't re roll anything. That's really nice. You could re roll the crit to vitality.

Nice Photon! I wouldn't reroll the crit. Especially if you have a build that is crit dependent.

I don't think I've ever had a 1H weapon legendary drop on my Wizard, ever. My Crusader has an embarrassment of riches in 2H weapons thanks to my Wizard.

So I tested it out. I don't believe there is a real benefit between Ruby and Emerald for any DoT build. With a ruby, I melt mobs quite quickly. With an emerald, mobs take more effort to kill, but then I have a slightly easier time with Spirit Barrage. Sheet DPS shows emerald as higher, but again with DoT it's not the best indicator. Also read that IAS doesn't affect DoT. It always ticks at one per second, so I rerolled out some of my IAS stats.

Just hit 70 on my first character last night. I'm guessing the game is really just getting going now.
My gear is still all sub-70 stuff. I am currently playing on Expert, as that seems to be the best speed/risk ratio.
I guess the best plan is to keep doing bounties and rifts to gear up?
Here is my profile for those looking for a laugh :P

SNEAKY NINJA MOD EDIT: It's also fun to find a good weapon with level reduction on it and use it to power level other characters. Nothing like being a level 45 guy running around with a 2000 damage level 70 weapon.

Yup, the first bit post 70 is actually a very fun time in the game where you find upgrades seemingly constantly and get a very quick and tangible increase in power very quickly, since even the decent yellows are huge upgrades to your pre-70 gear.
Then it levels out.
EDIT: Oh man finding that Cindercoat at 69 instead of 70 would have almost had me giving up.
