Wow, this game certainly became interesting.

I guess my common response would be "Holy crap, the little ####### did it"

I would think that Ineedanother has now used a major one shot power and identified himself as a townie. I would expect that the doctor should protect him from the night kill if possible.

Well, now that he's used his power, he's pretty vanilla, so other than ensuring a townie kill, why go after him?

At least for the next couple of days, we have a proven townsperson to lead us in voting. This is bad for the mafia. The doctor probably doesnt have any leads for whom else to protect, so it would be the best decision to protect an early townsperson leader.

Game of numbers, the mafia will want to eliminate sure numbers at the start of this game unless someone really starts zeroing in on them, the night kill(s) could be really revealing to see if anyone is one the right track, if a person outside of I needanother is gunned down in the street and its a pretty verbal player, he or she was on to something and we need to follow that person's logic forward.

Sometimes we forget that we are in game one of what is usually a complex game. As it stands now, it could be up to a 4 kill day (1 lynch, 2 night kills, timbo), Ineedanther is a sure thing for the scum if the doctor protects him it drops it to a 3 kill normal day, which might be a good thing if Timbo ends up being a mob.

But he doesn't know anything about anyone else. He's just a proven townie. He's one person we don't need to vote for.

I think we protect him for as long as possible, since as long as we know one townsperson for sure - statistically we will have a higher chance of voting for Mafia.

Pending the Card flip I am voting for one of the people who voted for ineedanother after the discussion on strategy around whether he needs to go.

The correct strategy if he was faking was to let the real vigilante kill him or let out doctor protect him until we had a good person to kill. So running a vote on him after his declaration is pro mafia or just terrible town. Either way I am comfortable voting one of the pile ons out.

One more thought on a long term basis but it assumes a lot of things and probably isn't relevant yet but I am just sitting here hitting refresh waiting for the flip so I might as well post.

I believe HockeyGuy has posted it a few times but one possibility is that the Mafia just sat out of the whole ineedanother situation once they saw there was debate over killing out vig. If Timbo flips town, and we go after one of the pile ons and they flip town (which I think is the correct strategy now) then on Day 2 continuing after the pile ons would likely be the wrong strategy.

kermitology - kermitology also recommended ineedanother kill me after I was one of the biggest supporters of keeping the vigilante alive and letting the real vigilante do his work. So he is my leading choice.

I literally Unvote HG15, and am literally voting for kermitology. I STILL think ActiveStick is a bigger target (and one that ineedanother targeted too) but I don't like the way he went after ineedanother.
