I still think it is the best choice. To clarify, we need to pick someone and since it is the first day we have almost no information to go on, so as sketchy as my theory might be, I have not seen a better one.
GGG's most recent post here does give some credible explanation to his actions, so switching to him at this point would be somewhat pointless. He also did direct his support for lynching ineedanother, which if he was scum and working with him would be very bad, since if ineedanother comes out as scum GGG is likely first on the list for the next lynch.

I was pretty much expecting to be voting Rathji last night, but his explanation convinced me the reasons behind what he had done, and his argument was sound. I think we've probably learned what we can without getting some card flips and voting patterns.

Has anyone else written like 5 posts that they delete before hitting post? I don't remember being this worried about how I came across on day 1 last time. It was around day 3 for that last time

I dont think we will see much more development until we advance a night and see what transpired.
as to my reasoning, not a lot to go on so far but Rathji's reasoning is as sound as any other in the thread so far so I will play off his hunch today.

Fine, I shall give in to the group... but only after another random.org episode!
I'll flip three Toonies 4 times. On the forth flip, majority wins.
Tails: My vote for Completely remains unchanged.
Heads: I unvote Completely, and vote for ineedanother

It took me about an hour to write and re-write my big post explaining my theory. Almost made me late for work.
Lots of posts I start typing and then never hit submit

I accidentally flipped my coin only three times...
Do you guys want me to go in and flip it one more time, or restart completely and flip another four times?

My thought would be everyone should vote for someone by the end of Today, Discuss tommorrow, Lynch by the end of Tomorrow or Saturday.

Interesting. I didn't think about that. Likely a good thing because I would have stressed even more about my post.
I do realize that if ineedanother ends up a townie, I might have a target painted on my back and that's understandable. Had I thought it through all the way, I might not have done so much and just sat quietly on my hunch until a later time when I knew more from the flips. I think it would have given us a bigger advantage if we could piggy back scum lynches by having a few connective ties.
Anyway, I am out for my Thursday night nerd fest so likely won't be posting much until morning. Hoping I wake up in the morning to a bloody scum corpse leading us into night, however you guys decide to play it.

Since it looks like everyone is targeting me, I will pull a trick out of my sleeve. I am the vigilante, so I guess I will be using my kill today, as I do not want to leave the game with it. Anybody have any better target then the following three, who I think are most likely to be mafia?

If no one else claims to be the vigilante, we should get the doctor to protect you tonight, and try to hold off until at least one or two more days to use the kill.

Ugh, not a good time to reveal yourself. You had like what, 4 votes out of a necessary 16?
Now we have to lynch you or the mafia will off you and waste your ability. And if you are lying, then you are needlessly drawing attention away from potential mafia.
Come on folks, it's day one. Don't put us behind the 8ball right out of the gate. Play it smart

Day 1 reveal, wow.
I agree, it might be better to hold up till a later day, to use the day kill when we have a better guess as to the townies vs mafia

Wow, snikies
I love the fact that you figure that your on the way out and you want to kill someone.
One of two things can happen at this point I believe
the doctor can step up and protect you, but chances are he's going to have to perma protect you, because everynight you service the mafia have to take you out. If that happens the doctor isn't going to reveal himself and your going to burn your one time shot today when its not really strategically advantageous.
Or the doctor doesn't step up, we see who you murder and you probably get night killed
Interesting turn to the game, but you've probably really shortened your time.
