Flames blowing a 15 point lead in the division?

Losing 6-5 after being up 5-0 in the third to Chicago?

We should tread lightly here as we have some solid contenders.

I'll take blowing a 3 goal lead in the last 5 or so minutes of game 7 though by Toronto. That is some kinda chokejob right there.

Again, very low stakes. Regular season games? Doesnt even compare.

Haha, let's get real then.

Losing games 6 and 7 to Anaheim, 2006 as the division champs. Calgary's best opportunity to win a cup this decade imo.

That one stung.

Though, weren't Vancouver up 3-1 or 3-0 against Chicago only to blow it?

Ah, hell. Someone post a video to that leafs collapse again. Watching Dion go fishing on the game winner is just too sweet.

3 years in a row for Toronto

2012- 18 wheeler comment from Burke. Playoff spot at all-star to top 5 pick
2013- playoff meltdown in the 3rd
2014- playoff spot secure to bottom 8 finish

I have to give this one to the Bruins. That 3-0 blown lead was waaaay worse than the Sharks one.

Vancouver was up 3-0 in the series against the Hawks in 2011.
They beat the Hawks in game 7 on a Burrows OT winner.

I think the saddest part about that is it was 8 years ago.

Did they not have a 3-1 series lead against the Hawks before Big Willie's infamous "You're not a 5-5 player" to Pat Kane?

Hurricanes scoring 2 goals in 80 seconds in new jersey in game 7. going from losing to winning 4 - 3 and they hadn't even pulled Cam Ward for the tying goal. hurricanes were the number 6 seed that year.

That reminded me of Game Six of the Finals last year. The Bruins were up 2-1 with 1:16 left in the third, and lost 3-2 in regulation.

That was a pretty bad one considering the stakes.
