Blowing 3-0 looks bad for sure. LA's top players have produced when SJ's haven't. That being said, Vlasic is a huge loss, and the goaltending isn't even close.
I don't think SJ would be smart to blow it up based on this.

Are they really losing money? If that is the case nearly every other team is as well. They have had the best fans in the league for 15 years now.
