Pitbull owners don't look bad; they are bad. Only an ####### would want a dog that intimidates others just by existing.
I was in the Co-Op parking lot in Shawnessey last week and this lady drove by with a pitbull in the back seat with the window half-way down. The dog lunged and barked at me as she drove by. I said "f*** you" and she yelled back "what's your problem?!". Like WTF, your dog just scared the crap out of me because you're an idiot and you're pretending I'm the one with the problem?
Without exception, only trashy #######s own pitbulls.
Instead of all the returning posters coming here, maybe Bingo could set up calgarypuck2.com and they can post there. He could even make moon a moderator.

I don't want to belabour the point, but what does it matter to you if there are returning posters.
Don't you think the mods/owner of the site are aware of who they are?
I just don't get why you would want people would want to come back. If I acted so poorly that I was banned, I don't know why I'd want to be around the people that banned me. Sure there are a few that change, but then there are the vast majority that don't, and act just the way they did before. There are several posters who are on at least their third name. If you got banned, there was likely a good reason, and it was likely because you were disrupting the board. If you come back, there is a likelihood that you would do it again. Not all returning posters are bad, but I'd like to see that stats on how many of the second accounts have been banned again.
I'm guessing the mods know who most of the returning posters are, as there have been posts where they shown the process on how a poster can return. There are posters here right now who have returned, and I would guess the mods don't know who they are yet. There are also the others that type until their fingers hurt that they aren't a returning poster, and they clearly are a returnee.

I can only speak for myself, but I was not in a good mental place during my previous time on the board. I had a number of issues that I was delaing with, sometimes they still come back. Whether or not I am different this time, can be debated (which is kind of the point of this/all boards).
I will say that in my "non-CP" life I am a big believer in second chances. I have been the recipient of them, and have extended them.

It takes a humble person to apologise for actions that got him or her banned and to ask for a second chance. I happen to be one of those posters and am thankful for the second chance that was given to me. I also made an effort to not repeat my actions and to not let down the mods who let me come back.

I was pissing blood once and I went to the walk-in clinic. First question they asked was if I had eaten beets. No. Any pain? No. Are you sure you didn't eat beets? No, it's blood dammit!
Pissed in a cup, came back and showed them my red piss and they're like, "yeah... that's some bloody piss right there". Thought it was pretty patronizing at the time, but I guess they get a lot of beet-eaters in there?
What's the deal with people tucking their ears in ball caps? I honestly could not tell you why but it drives me insane... I'm seeing more and more of it and I fear an incredibly lame trend is about to commence
WRGMG... I schedule movers to show up at 6 to move my furniture to my new place. "We might be half an hour later", buddy says. "No problem", I say.

Is this a reputable, professional company, or like a kijiji or "cheap joes anytime delivery" type of deal?
If it's a big moving company then that's unacceptable, but if it's one of those small, affordable 2-4 man and 1 truck companies then it's probably more of a "you get what you pay for" scenario.
Definitely the latter, but I guess it's a matter of degree. I accepted their schedule for the move, was flexible about them being late, I don't expect some first class service. But the guy could at least pick up the phone to tell me when he’s getting here or if he's just not going to bother showing up at all. If that was the case I could at least have tried to work around it. Now I'm basically screwed.
