I sincerely wonder if Maher would allow the team to give him Forever a Flame honours. I suspect he wouldn't. He doesn't see himself in that way - he is far too humble.

The great story re-called today is how Peter Maher apologized to Darryl Sutter for what he considered to be his embarrassing call of the Gelinas OT winner.

My favourite part of that call though is Mike Rogers yelling out a YEAH! Just as Gelinas scores.

Me too, I was at the game so did not hear it live but I enjoyed listening to it many times afterwards, especially the cheer from Mike Rogers. What a great team.
