I don't disagree that impulse fighting should stay. Because I enjoy watching fighting. Not because I think it serves a higher purpose like preventing cheap shots.
I don't agree that no fighting equals shinny. There are lots of examples of physical sports without fighting.
But it doesn't matter. Writing is on the wall. Players make too much money and there have been too many incidents at every level. That days of routine fighting in hockey are numbered.
