As Chris said, his appointment was 20 minutes after they opened. So right off the bat they are running 40 minutes behind.

Yeah, surprising that it was 20 mins late near the begining of the day. I am also surprised, as it was a specialist (I am not too sure allergy specialists deal with many suicides or abortions). In my experience specialists usually run a tight schedule.
I used to call my GP to see how far behind they were.

her appointment was 9:20am. the place opened at 9am
we arrive between 9:10-9:15 and check in with the front desk. finally, just before 10am we get in.... really?!?! come on!! how is it even possible to be almost 40 minutes late that early in your day. it just annoys me becuz i hate being late and always do my best to respect others time when it comes to appointments and stuff like that
on the flip side, we did find out that our daughter just has a skin allergy and she should out grow it. it's also fine to feed her milk stuff, just need to get it into her mouth as much as possible (which can be challenging at times)

Was this by any chance an office off Macleod that has a pharmacy built in it? Exact same thing happened to me, office opens at 9am, appointment booked for 9:15 and we didn't get in until about 9:50. Never going there again. How is that even possible?

Not long ago I was at the gp, and was sitting around waiting and waiting. After awhile a lady with 4 or 5 kids came out of one of the rooms. I wonder if she booked 1 or 5 appointments

I'm debating giving myself a clean bill of health. Haven't experienced any problems lately, and work was crazy busy so I didn't make it in yet.

Broke my ankle 2 years ago... paralysis makes it difficult to feel the pain... 6 months of follow-up with an orthopedic surgeon and I was given an AOK all healed resume normal activity.
I my ankle hasn't felt the same since, spasms and such, so I mention it to the Dr at the neuro-rehabilitation clinic. He orders an xray.
Guess what, it's still broken... I really hope I don't have to get it fused now...that would suck! Lose the use of my left leg...no manual, that's fine dual-clutch, lose the use of my right ankle, hand controls - no freakin way!!!

That's not good! I hope things go well this time and it doesn't need to be fused.

I think flameswin just likes all this sympathy. He may die, but he'll die basking in the glow of all this attention.

I talked to my family doctor earlier about your symptoms. You got the aids. I'm so sorry.
