Hmmm... interesting. I never knew that. I guess I wasn't paying attention much in the last few season's first rounder before. Yes i agree it is embarrassing and I wonder what is the other reason for it other than you mentioned. Was it because NBA players' association mandate or just the owners trying to get more TV revenues. Sucks that you have to wait long in between games unlike the NHL playoffs that you get to see the games every other day or sometimes 2 days in a row.

Thoughts on starting Fields and have him man up on Joe Johnson for as long as possible? That guy is killing us, and DeRozan can't defend him. Also, it's not like we need Fields on the offensive side of the ball, we got other weapons capable of scoring.

Great start for the Raptors. Brooklyn finally looks like the older team, which is how I expected them to look all series. Bench needs to keep it going and provide some defence with Fields not available tonight.

I missed it, why is Fields not available?

And Johnson's back playing his usual solid self. AK47's useless down low. They gotta keep running this inside aggressive game. Love it.

Back spasms. Dude just can't catch a break. I think he missed some time from back spasms earlier this spring.

It blows my mind that Kirilenko's given this much playing time. He's an absolute shadow of himself. So far the teams playing great but there were a couple times Vazquez was being unselfish and passed it off when he had an open shot. He's gotta put those away.

Absolutely terrible riffing today. Brooklyn is getting every call. Raps are cannot even body up the Nets while the Nets have been doing this throughout the series.

I told myself I wasn't going to complain about the reffing at all this series, but this has been unbelievably one-sided.

After the 1st they were on pace for 140 points. Now they're at 60. Damn they gotta make smarter choices on the O.

Are you guys finally with me, that the reffing is not as much incompetent as it is purposefully executed against a certain team, to a degree?

It just seems so obvious. It's crazy that it's just seemingly accepted in this league.

I would honestly expect some pretty iffy calls in the Nets favour in the last minute here.

Really ugly game but the Raptors turned up the defensive intensity to 11 in the 4th quarter.

They let a big lead slip away, but what a gem of defensive effort in the fourth quarter. Wow. Proud of these guys no matter what the end result.
