Finally. I don't want to trivialize the accomplishments of those teams but we are talking about a game where no more than 100 people couldn't even bother to show up in person and OT periods that would make 90's Devils games look like fire wagon hockey.

It is stupid because the NHL game could be shown on NHL Network in Canada until the midget game ends. I have no problem with the midget game being on because it is a championship game. It is poor planning by TSN to not have another channel ready just in case it happens. I am glad I have RDS and understand french but it seems that TSN and TSN2 have not been mentioning that on their tickers.

1st period was great. Trevor Daley scored on a breakaway as he was coming out of the penalty box. Eakin got a PP goal, Smith-Pelley got it back, but then the Benn's starting dominating on a crazy cycle shift. Garbutt scored right after. 3-1 Stars.

No idea, but thankfully they're off the damn TV now so we can watch the Stars game on the big screen. Looks like we missed a great first period.
Tried watching it on the website and it isn't even worth it.

It was a good first period, the Stars had excellent puck possession. If you can, get RDS to watch the game.
