I reckon there are. Having the hockey gods on their side is the only way Colorado pulled that one off.

Minnesota was jobbed by crappy officiating. Hopefully those refs don't get picked for the next round.

Would also like to see each team get a coaches challenge.

Landeskog should have been in the box much earlier than that. They are letting avs stars get away with way to much.
Credit the wild, they are out there to play hockey and very rarely do you see them complaining...even when it is warranted.

Yup. While I am quit happy with the players the flames got with the 3 first rounders, I can see why Feaster tried to trade all 3 for MacKinnon.

As much as it sucks to see a game end on a missed call like that (or, not end, I guess), I hope they don't ever make off-sides reviewable on goals.

The blue line is 64 feet from the goal line. The missed call didn't directly contribute to the goal being scored. They still had to go in and score the goal. It wasn't even scored directly on the first shot after the missed call, 5 seconds ticked off the clock between the play at the blueline and the goal.

I don't like the idea of allowing reviews on things that happened 50 or more feet away from the goal, some undetermined amount of time before the goal was scored.

I think the non-penalty is worse, prevented pretty much a sure goal he had a step and an open net...how can they not call that?!?!

I still do that trade 12months later. Colorado still says no! In fact they hang up the phone without reply!

Just a brutally reffed game in the last little bit. Really unfortunate for the Wild. Hopefully they manage to get a decent ref at home and then push it to 7.

You think the team that employed Matt Cooke would have the gods on their side? The hockey gods are working through the officials to eliminate the Wild for their terrible judgment in grabbing that ######bag.

Nathan Mackinnon is the most exciting player I've seen in awhile... Clutch as well as mega-skilled. He wouldn't have looked out-of-place on those stacked Avalanche teams from the late '90s.

I haven't seen anything from the game at all but looks like MacKinnon has put the team on his back with Duchene out. Just going from the gifs above, the missed penalty is nothing to me,that play happens a lot during a game. The missed offside though, wow. Hockey gods want Minnesota out, great to see
