Weird I was there around 4pm today to get my wristband and there were signs outside and in directing traffic. Non-restricted mobility entered to the left and around the grandstand. Restricted mobility had a different entrance to the grandstand. Couple stampede staff were there as well.
Expo continues to grow which is probably why this is set up a little off the beaten track. Looks like they had to put up a massive tent this year as well to accommodate more and longer panels.

Yeah, the worst bottlenecks last year were wristband/day pass switches by the BMO. So this year giving it a try moving to the Grandstand and hoping that eases up congestion. Most all of the BMO/Big 4 doors should be open and wristband accessible, which will hopefully move folks through/in faster.

Glad to hear they put up signage for directions. Should help alleviate some of the confusion and questions.
And save on volunteers who don't need to stand out there.

Day one down. Some bumps and a couple 'bruises', but overall...a pretty strong start. A lot of neat looking costumes this year.

Got some last minute tickets to Middle Earth EXPOsed tonight and it was awesome. Lots of tid bits about both trilogy's, videos from Peter Jackson and Richard Armitage, comedy stuff, bit of music, etc all while Richard Taylor of WETA fame turned a fan into a full blown orc in about an hour and a half. Some hilarious moments throughout.
2.5 hours in total, very entertaining. Tempted to get tickets to the Aliens one tomorrow now, though am expecting far less improv comedy laced with sexual innuendo for that one..

Is that Nenshi dressed as the 11th doctor?
That's awesome.

I wish there was more of a gaming presence at the show... it's all movies, TV shows, and comics. Which is great and cool, but if there was a heavy gaming presence I'd make a point of going every year.

I know they have a little LAN area set up, saw people playing L4D2 yesterday which was awesome. Also saw a big booth selling vintage video games.
I tried to go to a presentation today on the worlds created in video games but it was rescheduled so I missed it. There was also a thing on video game music featuring the band THWOMP, of which one of our own cp members is a part of (username eludes me at the moment but I remember them from 2012 expo).
I think there were a few other video game related booths and presentations as well. Not a heavy presence but there is a bit here and there. I enjoy that sort of stuff to.
