Rask has given up 2 goals in 3 games, yet they have lost one.

That's just silly.
McQuaid and Thornton are two of the toughest customers out there, Lucic has dropped the gloves with plenty of guys that match up/over him and come out on top, and Chara rarely loses a fight (he also rarely fights, because despite being 6'9 he actually has the talent required to NOT be a goon).
Though, saying he would lose a fight to a goon doesn't really speak to his toughness at all. Is everyone who loses to McGrattan "not tough"? Because I'm afraid that makes pretty much the entire league "not tough".

Yeah I forgot about McQuaid. There just cheap shot artists. Thornton-Orpik. Etc. I just find it hard to respect a lot of their players.

Yeah, respect is one thing, they have guys that walk the line but I don't think anyone is going to go about saying they're not tough. Tough and dirty? Absolutely.

Looks like Iggy's time on ice and especially even strength time on ice is declining each game so far in the playoffs.
total time on ice with even strength in brackets:
18:16 (17:26)
17:12 (14:09)
17:05 (13:03)

Watching him he looks really slow on the ice, seems to lose nearly every race to the puck and ends up chasing a lot. Probably why he's seeing less ice.

He is having a problem with the shiftiness/speed of the wings for sure, but I thought he looked a heck of a lot better last game when he had more support in his own zone.
He absolutely owned Datsyuk last night with the body. Usually between the two of them, it's the other way around.

When you have the luxury and confidence that Claude Julien does in rolling all four lines, you can afford to reduce the ice time of your top guys. Even though Iggy was held off the scoresheet last night, I thought he played a very good game and as mentioned, laid the body on Datsyuk last night and battled hard against the boards.

Zetterberg is most likely back in the lineup tonight

The Detroit Red Wings look to be getting a huge boost tonight as they try to tie their series with the Boston Bruins.
Captain Henrik Zetterberg, who has missed more than two months with a back injury, appears to be ready to return to the Red Wings line-up for Game 4 tonight at Joe Louis Arena.

Herniated disc is not THAT bad, as far as back surgery goes.
Initially they had expected him to miss 8 weeks, so it's not off timeline.
Maybe just some pp time to boost an offense that isn't generating much of anything

Its my understanding that he was injured earlier in the season, healed and rehabbed in time for the Olympics and was then re-injured at the Olympics.
Now hes healed and rehabbed again in time for the playoffs significantly earlier than had been anticipated as he was projected to be ready for the second round.
Are we seeing the same thing over again? I know people can recover from herniated discs in all kinds of unlikely environments such as ancient middle-eastern pit-prisons, and Zetterberg likely had higher grade facilities, but hes not Batman.

He has also been very reserved in interviews. More of the "it would be nice to get out there but these things take time, not going to push it, etc etc" rather than the "it really sucks sitting in the press box being unable to help the guys out" type of response. Zets has been there before, he's not going to risk significant injury just so he can play at 50%. If he's ready to go he'll go. Not too worried about it.
And do you have any actual proof he's not Batman? Have you ever seen them in the same place at the same time? No. I rest my case.

It's not great either. The nerve root gets compressed by the herniated disc and they go in there and remove the portion of the disc on the nerve. But trust me on this one, it takes a looooong time for that nerve to feel relatively normal again. I hope he doesn't get injured again because he rushed it.

No, I hear you.
Am well aware, having had this surgery myself.
Obviously I'm not batman (and neither is Zetterberg) because rehab did zero for me.
