The Penguins don't even have to pull their goalie...

Fleury is hot garbage. Those last two goals were horrible.
I see either a trade, with Pittsburgh eating 50%, or an outright buyout on the horizon. It's been proven you can't win with him anymore.

Lol the exact opposite curse of 2004 where first goal wins.

Every Fleury mistake always brings me back to his hilarious own-goal at the WJC. At least as far as I'm concerned, he'll never live that one down.

I don't really have anything against the Pens, and I'm a big Sidney Crosby fan, but I have to say I'm enjoying seeing the casual, bandwagon Pens fans on Facebook flip their #### over the 4 Pittsburgh games they have watched all season.
Hilarious.

That was an exciting comeback by the Blue Jackets. Glad that they're giving the Penguins a fight, but they will surely be beat in seven games. Even if it takes all seven.

The way Fleury is playing in goal it wouldn't surprise me to see the Jackets win the next 2 games and the series. Just imagine the Jacket fans celebrating at the end of game 6.

If it goes all seven then anything can happen in the 7th game. Columbus has a huge advantage in goaltending and effort at the moment and I really hope they can pull off a huge upset.

lol, Pen fan meltdown from another forum.
Quote:
---------- Fleury. I don't give a **** about the bouncing puck. You can't stop a wrist shot from the blueline? GTFO you loser.
----- Sid and Geno. Counting OTs, that's over 9 playoff games without a goal. 9. I don't care if Kirk and I were on their wings, put the puck in the net you ****ing chokers.
----Bylsma. Nice strategy playing prevent 7 minutes into the first period. Get Gladams out there a little more too.
------- Shero. You own this cluster**** of a joke team.
--------Mario. Actually you really own it. **** off
|
I couldn't help but laugh. I had to share it, it's all about just running out of ideas by the time he gets to Mario.

I know it's early and it'll never be as big of a Cinderella run or a fan following like Calgary as in '04 but this Columbus team and it's fans could be the closest thing since then if they can make it a couple rounds.

He didn't do this in the 2008 and 2009 playoffs.

Columbus have found a franchise player in Ryan Johansen. I picked the Pens to go through but it would be awesome to see the Jackets beat the Pens.
Beating the Pens will give them the confidence to beat the Flyers or the Rangers. I don't think they'll have as much trouble with those teams than they have had with the Pens.

It would. But only because Pavelec is the worst starting goalie in the league.
EDIT: Although I just saw that Fleury's even strength save percentage in this series is .932. That's really very good. Giving up that many goals and having your ESSV% be that high indicates to me that while I'm with the mob that says "Fleury is mediocre at hockey", the Pens' failings in this series shouldn't be laid on his shoulders primarily.
