Brooklyn is the only team who can beat Miami and even that seems unlikely. The East is so incredibly weak compared to the West. The Heat basically have to win 1 series where they actually try, and depending on the opponent they may not even have to try that hard. Outside LeBron, pretty much every elite talent resides in the West. I think its time to eliminate conferences, the gap has gotten even bigger from when the West was dominant to start the 2000s.

Crazy facts:

Lebron has beaten 4 50+ win teams in his entire playoff career. Kobe has beaten 23, Duncan 14 and Shaq 17. Just shows how weak the East has been for this era mostly.

In all likelyhood the EC finals will be between the Heat and the dysfunctional Pacers, or the flash in the pan Hawks or the nobody cared Wizards.

And if the Heat don't make it to be NBA Finals, we can skip the process and crown the WC champ the NBA Champ.

Goddman it Colangelo. Andrea over LaMarcus is so horrific I don't even know where to start. Houston is finished, they have absolutely no one who can stop him.

Harden has shot 29% in his first two playoff games. And people think he's a superstar?

As the only Atlanta Hawks fan on this board, and one of the few in the world, I am quite pleased with how they are playing. THey have played as well as anybody over the last 10-15 games. Their speed is giving Indiana fits and as long as they are hitting the 3 they can close out this series. I don't think they stand a chance against Washington in the next round (if they get there), I'd actually rather them play Miami as they match up better.

The Hawks are a outside in 3 pt shooting team. Their bigs can shoot and are giving Indy fits. It still doesn't explain the struggle Indy has over them. Outside of a good Game 2 3rd quarter the Pacers had played, the Pacers could easily be looking at going down 0-3.

ESPN radio hints strongly that there must be something going on in that locker room. My guess is they were fighting over chicks.

The Western Conference playoffs has been so good to watch. Just highlights the massive gap between the conferences. And if Carmelo heads to Houston it will just further the gap even more. Memphis is such a unbelievably tough team to play in the playoffs. They have everything you need except that one go to guy at the end. But the huge frontline, strong guard play and obviously great defensive play makes them a ridiculously tough out...and they're probably the 6th or 7th best team in the West.

If Melo goes to Houston, LBJ will stay in Miami. Why would he go to a stacked West and have to compete night in and night out? He can coast in the East during the regular season and all he has to do is beat the one WC champ in the playoff to win the title.

Harden has looked so awful in the first two games, it just shows he's at his best working as a facilitator and not running the offense through him. Not sure Melo will actually take a pay cut to go to Houston, but the Knicks are a disaster and might not be relevant for a while yet.

Speaking of the Knicks, I don't like their hiring of Phil. Nobody can fix the Knicks quickly and Phil would have the tendency to make snap decision for fast gain. Pat Riley was in a different situation back then with Miami. Nobody expected much from a new expansion franchise like Miami when Riley was hired. So he had time to put his stamp on the team. Phil won't have that luxury and would be under constant media microscope in NY.

If Melo goes to Houston, it will be a disaster. 3 of the most selfish players on one team? Melo needs to go somewhere where there is a strong leadership group aka not Houston.

Roy Hibbert is really killing the Pacers. Literally half the time he is on the floor he has Millsap on him who gives up 6 inches. Hibbert should be scoring 15+ a game in that situation. Paul George needs to pick it up. Demare Carroll is a great defender, but if George wants to be considered an elite player no one should be able to stop him from getting 20+ a game. Lance Stephenson and Luis Scola are the only 2 players that came to play offense yesterday.

I think Hibbert will be on the bench to start the game tomorrow.

Donald Sterling caught on audio saying he doesn't want his girlfriend bringing black people to Clippers games or posting pics with them on social media. He was actually mad at a pic with Magic Johnson of all people. NBA needs to take that franchise away. Clippers' players should boycott the playoffs until something is done.

Donald sterling caught on tape with more racist comment towards blacks. He was upset at his black girlfriend for associating with Black's and paint pictures on Instagram.

How is this bigot allowed to own a NBA team?
