Just got an Xbox 360, What's the best Sports game out?
I just grabbed Fifa 06 I would've got the World Cup version but I already have that for my PC.
Reason I bought it was because of the trip to EA I'm doing later in the month and since they probably payed upwards of $2000 for me to go up there and be accomidated I thought why not... Since there will be a 360 version of NHL 07.
What are you guys playing? I have Obivion already.

I played FIFA 06 once and took it back. Fight Night Round 3 is the best sports game for Xbox 360 right now, although I've been spending a lot of time playing MLB 2K6.

Don’t know what the best one is, but I herd Madden is crap
My buddies and I are hooked on Fifa 2006, its unbelievably fun I would give it a rent

The gameplay and graphics for Madden are terrific. It's just a very basic game and doesn't have any of the cool game modes that the current gen version does.

Why'd you take Fifa back? I enjoy the World Cup game. Is it not just the same gameplay but with club teams?

Just watching some vids, Fight night looks incredible. I've never played a boxing game though. Is it hard, does it get boring?

As far as I know the only other FIFA out was road the world cup where you take a team and try qualify for the world cup.
Gameplay is great, everything else is lacking. I still say these are the most fun multiplayer games available on XBox.
Madden looks amazing and the gameplay is decent.
Between Call of Duty 2 and Oblivion though I really haven't touched my other games too much. NFS Most Wanted is alright too if you're into those.

Not really. There's basically two options for gameplay, friendly and WC Qualifier. You basically play WC qualifier once and you're done the game. Gameplay is good just very basic.

If you've never played it before it's tricky but once you learn it, it's a blast. Single-player mode is fun but it's really fun kicking the crap out of your friends or people online.

I know this is sorta OT cause I dont have an Xbox 360 but FIFA06 sucked compared to FIFA05 (for PS2 anyway). I tried to get into 06 but I went back to my Franchise in 05.
FIFAWorldCup, however, is better then 06 and I have been playing it alot lately. I even managed to win the World Cup with Canada on pro (or whatever the second hardest level is called).

Definetely pick up Call of Duty 2. The single player experience was incredible, and I've had a lot of fun with the LIVE version as well. Hours of entertainment.
I owned Fight Night, and while it was good, I got tired of it, and traded it away.
Another game I recommend is Condemned:Criminal Origins. It's a suspense/horror game, but quite a bit of fun. I don't like horror movies, nor do I like getting scared, but this game is pretty cool. Intense, but cool.
I've also owned/played:
Ghost Recon - bad
Battlefield 2 - bad
Perfect Dark - bad

Playing Fight Night online tends to bring out the anger in me because they use those cheating flash ko punches..if anyone wants to go a few rounds

Fight Night is the best sports game out right now I think. The next incarnation of sports games this fall/winter should be incredible.
The other one to check out and don't laugh as it's a riot in 2-player is Rockstar games Table Tennis.

I played that table tennis game today and it's actually quite fun(in a virtua tennis kind of way)..it would be great on multiplayer online mode
