DeRozan struggling. Jittery Raps start.

Raptors have the big advantage inside, the Nets have the big advantage on the perimeter. Jonas and Amir are going to have to have big series and the perimeter defense really needs to step it up or this will be a short series.

Big advantage outside is an overstatement. Lowry and Derozan are struggling in the first 10 minutes of game one. But Lpwry is the best player in this series.

So far some really good hustle from the Raptors but some bad shot decisions. Lowry's gotta settle the team down and distribute.

Obvious jitters in first quarter but fun game to watch so far.

This Tom Sterner looks like the most hyper guy and it was comical hearing him talk about the getting the guys to settle down.

God, if the raps didn't miss every easy shot, we'd be up by like ten right now.

After watching this whole game I'm 99% sure the ref with the slicked back hair is being paid off. If it was any other sport it's be a ridiculous idea , but with the nba's recent scandal it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

DeRozan has obviously been terrible today. One of his worst games of the season for sure.

I have never heard Jack Armstrong this whiney before.

Usually he leaves that up to Devlin.

A little embarrassing for a guy that is usually so good.

Not surprised with the outcome. Series will still go 6-7 games.

So I take it Calgarypuck isn't really a good place to discuss the Raptors. Any Raps fans here know where the best message board is? I'd like to follow along for Tuesday's game. Thanks.

I don't know best or biggest, but I do check in on the comments on PSD every now and then for the Raps and Jays. I don't have an account, but interesting discussion.

On to the Raps, Amir and DeMar gotta step it up. They absolutely sucked and normally they're much better and capable, so we'll see if they normalize game 2. Great game by Valanciunas. What a gem we have in him.

I doubt he can or will and supposedly it makes him "great" but Lowry needs to calm down.

With Brooklyn having the vets already you know the refs are looking to give them calls. Lowry constant whining and hands in the air only makes it easier for them.

It may not be fair but that is how the NBA goes and Lowry constantly "showing then up" likely leads to more calls for the Nets.

The Raps played like a young team today. They will settle down in G2.
