Fair enough , I'd prefer he'd drop the stick work out of his game too. I guess my thoughts are if you're going to be dirty at least be accountable for the repercussions . And if I have to choose who'd to cheer for it'd be the Bruins over the Wings and their antics.
Bergeron and Marchand held back Crosby's arms while Chara suckerpunched him, how can you cheer for them at all? It was one of the most cowardly things I've ever seen.
Duh, he's good at hockey. Doesn't mean he's not a piece of walking garbage. There's simply no appropriate retailiation for that, either. How does a fight settle things? In a fight he has fair warning he's getting punched in the face. Literally the only way to even that score is to cheap shot someone and no one wants to see that.
Spearing a guy in the balls is dirty. That said, most of you complaining about Lucic would take him on the Flames any day. I know I would.
For free sure, in a trade no thanks.
He is one of the most overrated guys in the league. The fact he was a healthy scratch and yet on the TC camp roster was a joke. He would have been a disaster at the Olympics.

I'm confused... Unless a player is one of the 22 best Canadian skaters on earth, it's not worth acquiring him in a trade? (Not that Boston is going to give him up until he's way past his prime...)

No the cost of acquiring him is not worth it.
Not sure what being one of the top 22 best Canadian has anything to do with it.

Ok, that was nothing... If protecting your crease during playoffs is the most cowardly thing you have ever seen then you probably never played a game of hockey in your life. Chara did his job in this video

That wasn't nothing and I've played for 20 years. I have never once seen someone sucker punch another player while his arms are pinned back. But go on and make some more stupid assumptions
The Wings are a joke. They continue to turn their backs to hits. That's more bush league than what Lucic did once. Every time they're about to be hit they turn their back. Garbage way to avoid taking a hit.

If that is the most cowardly act you've ever seen , it explains a lot. I can see we will never see eye to eye on this.

This happens in beer league games....That also happens several times in an NHL game.

If I remember correctly, that was one of the first games that Crosby was playing without the cage after he broke his jaw. "Cowardly" might not be the right word to describe it, but "despicable" is.
