Great that the flames kept 4... If only they could have broken into the top 3 though, just outside the real stars in the draft but I'll be happy with Dal Colle. Hopefully Draitsaitl gets picked ahead of us and/or Burke doesn't pick a guy ranked lower because of "toughness" like Ritchie.

Also happy that Edm, Van, Toronto didn't win.

Last year the BPA was MacKinnon by the end of the year in the minds of many.

This year the BPA looks to be Ekblad in the minds of many and Reinhart is no MacKinnon.

I see a lot of excitement over Bennett. Anyone else excited about potentially getting Draisaitl who is essentially a young Kopitar/Thornton? I certainly am, would be just as huge a building block as Bennett imo.

If Draisati is available at 4, I believe he will play next year in Calgary. Huge upside.

It would suck more if we passed on Dal Colle and Draisaitl for Ritchie and they got one of them.

But I think Bennett could very well be on the board so I'm not too worried.

The thing that would throw a wrench IMO is Florida taking Reinhart, as that is who I feel Buffalo prefers.

In that case though I think Burke needs to move up and get Ekblad at two.
