I can't help but feel that the Coilers are going to trade down. But it would be nice if they did the Edmonton thing and picked Leon at 3rd so we can take Bennett.

The way I see this breaking down
#1 - Ekblad
#2 - Reinhart
#3 - Drasaitl (Edmonton needs Centers more than wingers)
#4 - Bennett

Really, Bennett is everything the Oilers forwards are not. I think Draisaitl plays closer to a softer top 6 forward.
McKenzie just basically told the Oilers to draft Bennett. Katz isn't going to let them draft Draisaitl now.

Unfortunately this is conceivable.
There is a good chance the Panthers really like one of the centres in which case it could go down:
1) Reinhart (FLA)
2) Bennett (BUF)
3) Ekblad (EDM)
I really hope not. I don't want to see the Oil get their stink all over Ekblad

In terms of young centers, Florida has Barkov, Bjugstad, Pirri, Trochek. Why would they choose a center over Ekblad?
