I wish McKenzie would shutup about there being an obvious top three. We don't need the Oilers to know that, and instead take someone off the board, leaving Bennett for us.

If there's anything the Oilers know, it's the draft lottery.

I'm not sure the Oilers take Ekblad, I could see them feeling Nurse, Klefbon, and Schultz are good enough on the back end.
It's crazy to think considering they spend 3 first overall picks on forwards but a big center might actually be the bigger need.

5. Dal Colle
6. Ritchie
7. Ehlers
8. Virtanen
9. Kapanen
10. Fleury

True.
While we're waiting, how about a poll?
It is well established that Edmonton is:
A) Good,
B) No good.

That or he's got his poker (pissed off) face on.
Roughly 50/50 chance I'm happy or mad.
Best - Flames win.
Okay - Panthers or Buffalo win.
Bad - Anyone below the Flames or the Oilers win.
Worst - Leafs or Canucks win.

I have this sinking feeling that we're about to get railroaded for some reason. If edmonton moves up I'm burning down my house.
If you draft top 3 two years in a row you shouldn't be allowed to pick top 5.

If Calgary remains in the #4 slot, I really hope a top ranked right-handed defenseman makes his annual slide down the list.

As long as this draft ends in us getting Reinhart or Virtanen, I'm good.

It's already been done. If the Devils won, we'll never know.
