I think I'd trade the thing if my team won the lottery, regardless of who it is - depending, of course, on what you can get back for it or for a trade-down. The top pick this year isn't going to get you the slam dunk it sometimes does.

Yeah, I honestly see a 600 goal scorer in him. And 1300+ points.

Even if we buffalo picks ekblad we get an upgrade in quality from Sven to either Sam at the cost of a couple of 2nds.

And I like Sven.
exactly my thoughts

For Weber? No way that gets it done.

Also, I don't think they have a 2nd.

I would take that deal too. But I feel the price would be more like. Bartschi, Poirier or klimchuk, and 50ish. Maybe even 35 not 50. Ekblad is a stud. They aren't going to just give him away for a very good prospect, but one who is still not a sure thing, and two seconds in a shallow draft.

I would be a nice problem to have, I think the problem the Oilers found in the Ryan Murray draft is that its hard to get much value out of dropping 1 or 2 spots in the draft, especially when there are multiple good choices at 1st Overall

But if anyone can do it is Bruke.

They traded it with MSP for Perron I think.

Worth more to trade Ekblad/Rienhart or the 1st overall pick?
