Draisaitl would be the bottom six box being checked off, and I would think the way he brought Ritchie up he also checked that one off.

It was a tad odd though that Dal Colle wasn't brought up. maybe he's the one Burkes not too high on. Fun thing is, we won't know until after the draft.

But I do agree with others, from that you can certainly make a safe assumption that if the Flames picked first, Aaron "The Beardy Man" Ekblad would be the guy he would take. And that makes me very happy.
Draisaitl is not a guy who checks the boxes for a bottom 6 player...not sure why you'd take what Burke said that way. Draisaitl has high end talent, a high level skillset.

Because others who where in attendance at a luncheon he spoke at heard him say it. Look it up, it's in here somewhere.

I like Draisaitl, want him on the Flames, I think there's far more to this player that's yet to be seen. Which is why I want him more than Reinhart. Again look it up, I've said it many times.

Alex Tuch's stock has skyrocketed in the past little while.

Fleury's #12?

Snipetype is going to have an aneurysm.

There's some names there I think are too low.

Kapanen
Goldobin
Karlsson
Fleury
Ehlers
Scherbak

Names that rose (and likely for good reason)

MacInnis
Tuch (wow is that a huge bump)
Dal Colle is 3?? Lets hope!

Players that are right where I think they should be:

Perlini
Virtanen
McKeown
Kamenev
Barbashev

Alex Tuch has clearly been pinching meat and potatoes from him.

I wouldn't mind trading our 2 seconds for a late 1st and snagging Roland Mckeown if he's available

A line with Richie - Backlund - Ferland would be amazing

Dal Colle ahead of Bennett and Draisaitl is interesting. I do really like Dal Colle, one of the players I'll be happy to see us select if we announce their name.

I really hope McKeown is available at 34... But being projected to be about 20-30 late first roundish, he probably won't pass one of those playoff teams that could use defenseman depth in the future.

Interesting to see Alex Tuch listed so high. Big, burly C/RW committed to BC next season. Has anyone watched him? Should feature heavily for team USA in the upcoming U-18s.

Also, no Julius Honka in the top 30? Could be the first time I've seen that...

Yeah not sure what pushed Dal Colle that high. Only think I can think is they like his playoffs better than Bennett's but that seems a little reactionary.

ISS can be a little adventurous sometimes though.
