I'm just trying to cut a lot of sugar out of my diet. I used to drink 4-5 slurpees a week, even in winter, and while I don't have diabetes, long-term that can't be good for you. And I think it's easier to just completely cut something out than try to limit yourself.
I recently gave up drinking pop for the same reason, trying to cut out some sugar from my diet. Your post reminded me that slurpees (basically the greatest thing ever) have pop.

That is far from a personal attack. If Violator is bashing Calgarypuck on another forum, yet continually posting here, it comes across as pretty scummy and is worthy of a call out.

Not judging, but the posters mentioning "not cheating on a spouse/lover" as a source of pride rather than simple ethics is interesting.
I know a lot, and I mean a lot of people who have cheated on their significant other. I am proud of the fact that I have the will to resist temptation even when it is literally dropped on my lap. I've got something wicked and wild waiting for me at home, why would I want to try to find something better, or different? I have what I need.

I looked into your profile at CDC, and as little as I agree with puckluck on things, I agree you have some pretty despicable posts. And really seem to bad mouth this site. If we are all such scumbags, why the hell do you bother with us?
edit: I also want to add, that I think one of the glaring differences between this site and CDC, is here, the mods do not tolerate for one second, wishing injury on any player, and the posts are deleted. Over at CDC, it is the norm. Call us hicks, rednecks, etc... but that crap doesn't fly here, and I am proud of that fact.
Haha, I thought I was the only one who's checked out opposing teams posters who have mentioned they post on message board X or whatever in CP threads.
Some guys make comments here about Flames fans and the site and are pretty similar on the other site, which is fine, imo. But the lamest ones are the posters that actually act like they're cool with everyone on this site and say they like the board and posters and that's why they come here etc.
Then you see them posting there and it's all "Oh man, CP is absolute garbage, just a bunch of whiney babies and nothing good". "Calgarypuck sucks, the mods suck, the posters are all homers, and they don't allow dissenting opinions"........."I'm currently trolling everyone in such in such thread, check it out, they're so stupid" etc.

You can count me in the never cheated category. Although I don't think you should be "proud" of doing the standard right thing. I'm not "proud" that I drive on the right side of the road either.
That said, I'm also far too stupid to realize any opportunity I would have to cheat. Not that I would, but yeah my ineptitude with women is an added bonus here.

Nice! I'd love to do that, but I hate the treadmill AND hate running in the cold snowy/icy weather. Though I have run a half marathon every Friday for the past 4 months (at a track mostly, outdoors for the last 3 Fridays).
Count me among the no-Titanic crowd.
Today is my 1 year anniversary of not (knowingly) having refined sugar.
I wouldn't know a Justin Beiver song if I heard it. I haven't had a drink in over a year, same with coca cola although I have both in the fridge. I just haven't wanted to, things are good this way.
OK, I admit I never visit other team boards. I had to google "CDC message board" to make sure it was indeed a Canucks thing. Why CDC? First thing I think of Centers for Disease Control, which is fitting.
