Guaranteed our first ever top 5 pick. Improved our lottery chances... Gaudreau scores. A fine day.

Most enjoyable season in many years.

I think the future looks pretty bright for this team.

Definitely not surprised with the result with so many randoms in the lineup, yay for Johnny. I guess 4th is a good result, would have preferred to blow out the canucks. Don't like that the last game of the year featured a contentious play like that...

Overall, great season, really excited to watch some playoff hockey and here's to hoping for some big forward steps next season!

Thanks everyone for all the GDT/GT/PGTs all season

Did Millions just refer to sedin as "class" and "quality"?

I'll admit as a Canucks fan that it does look like you guys have a lot to look forward to in the coming years. Didn't see a lot of Flames games but from what I saw it seemed that they never quit and worked there butts off.

We will have a top 5 pick for the first time. Here's hoping for Ekblad or Bennett.

Flames were terrible tonight, and clearly the veteran players were already on vacation. That being said, I thought Gaudreau looked really good. He didn't look out of place at all and made smart plays every time he was on the ice.

As for the season, I couldn't be more proud of this team. Pretty safe to say that they exceeded everyone's expectations, and the future looks very bright. Looking forward to the draft, and it should be an exciting summer with a new GM coming in, etc... Can't wait for next season!

I thought so too, I only can think of a handful of games that were just full of suck.

didn't go our way this year but I had fun watching them, there is a bright future

Hopefully that was his last game in Flames silks.

It doesn't really matter that Gaudreau got a goal. To me what matters is that he did not look out of place. Now we know that this kid can play at an NHL level. I wish the next season started tomorrow,

The Johnny Hockey highlight package in the post-game. When you see it all put together - wow.

With Edmonton falling to 3rd (barring the lotto results), I really think Burke looks to Florida or Buffalo to go get Ekblad.

Amazed at how many flames regulars were scratches tonight. Really shows how things may go without guys like Cammelleri with us. I also havent freaked out like that in long time when Johnny scored his first...so fun! Having the Isles pass us is the icing on the cake too....just got to wait for Tuesday to see if we stay there. This by far was one of the most enjoyable seasons to be a Flames fan in a very long time. You made me proud to wear my jersey! Exciting times for Flames fans everywhere!!!
