Monahan was boarded worse then that earlier this season. He got up and there was no penalty on the play.
Unfortunate incident, not a malicious hit.

I think the reaction to the bench hit by both teams kinda shows their attitude about the game. It looked like everyone, Canucks and Flames included, had a good laugh about that and made sure he was ok. If there was any actual animosity tonight that would have ended up in a bit of a scrum.
CP seems more divisive than the players tonight!

Yeah I think over the intermission the players probably got a look at the replays and realized the hit was clean hence the lack of any dirty play or retribution this period.
