Careless plays, and no respect for another all season(yes Canucks are guilty too) has led up to a potentially serious injury
Why shouldn't he follow through with his hit as the puck was there in the boards. Sedin turned just as the hit happened.

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet but I'm watching the Vancouver feed and they said Henrik has left the game as well

Billins terrible. Cundari terrible.

Butler leading all defencemen in icetime and is even in +/- when we're down 5-1.

No way that's a clean hit, but no way Byron had any intent there.

Saying that he should be suspended for that, because that was a hit in a very dangerous location. Great example of how you don't need to be a big player to possibly seriously injure someone when their back is facing you by the boards.

Think more hits from behind should be suspendable because every hit from behind in the boards could result in this. That's why it's such a dangerous play.

Steve Kozari has made sure Calgary won't build any momentum this game.

The Flames even have a penalty for skating.

So Daniel gets hit and Henrik gets injured?

I knew they were soft, but this takes this cake.

The hit wasn't vicious. Bad result but I'll bet you can find plenty of examples of that exact hit where the player skates away and there is no penalty.

Stop reacting to the result and just look at the hit.

Maybe you should not be overly concerned on what goes on another message board. I know it's been said before, but it's is still relevant, reverse teams and calgarypuck will be howling for blood

Does anyone else find it strange that after Sedin left the ice motionless he is still in the building? Shouldn't they be taking to the hospital asap?

Not sure why he would also leave. They said Daniel is still in the building under observation. That doesn't scream major injury since they didn't take him to the hospital.

That's assuming they are correct that he didn't go to the hospital yet.
