Didn't look that bad on the replays.

What a stupid thing to do, by Byron. Absolutely ######ed.
He turned just before he gets the puck. And yes I've seen the replay, about 50 times now.

And people were worried about the Canucks being dirty tonight.

That was a bad hit.

Looked pretty innocent to me (certainly no intent nor was it straight to the numbers). Hopefully he's okay.

Let's just hope a guy like Kassian doesn't try to go and do something stupid in return.

It wasn't a clean hit, but it wasn't ruthless. He definitely went in bad though, hope he's ok.

byron is small, but guy plays a heavy game.

Don't think he meant to get him like that, as it looked like it was going to be a standard hit to the side.

I would like to see the replay again, but from what I could tell that would have been a routine rub out along the boards if Sedin hadn't tried the creative play and turned to corral the puck.

Daniel Sedin probably thinks Paul Byron is so small that he won't be able to hit him. He turned and saw Byron coming then turned his back. He need to protect himself too. Does not deserve a major, maybe a double minor I can take.

So 5 and a game misconduct because Daniel went into the boards awkwardly? Doubt there will be a suspension or fine as it was just a guy finishing his check on a player that turned at the last minute.

Ugly result, but a pretty tame play. Daniel with a careless way to go into the boards.

Combination of Byron not letting up and Sedin doing a poor job of protecting himself

Think the injury was from hitting head on ice
