WC Playoffs Round 1: Anaheim Ducks vs Dallas Stars (Ducks win 4-2).

			Game 1: Dallas 3 @ Anaheim 4. Ducks lead the series 1-0.Game 2: Dallas 2 @ Anaheim 3. Ducks lead the series 2-0.
 Game 3: Anaheim 0 @ Dallas 3. Ducks lead the series 2-1.
 Game 4: Anaheim 2 @ Dallas 4. Series tied 2-2.
 Game 5: Dallas 2 @ Anaheim 6. Ducks lead the series 3-2.
Game 6: Anaheim 5 @ Dallas 4 (OT). Ducks win the series 4-2.

Ducks in 6. Too much firepower up front. Even beyond Getzlaf and Perry, they are getting great contributions from a lot of other forwards. Bonino has 20+goals, Beleskey is chipping in. Anaheim is solid at home as well. Dallas will win a few with Benn and Seguin playing great hockey but Anaheim should prevail.

Predictions? Thoughts on the series? Leave them here!

Dallas is a 2 trick pony. Anaheim is better throughout the entire line-up. Hiller > Pavalec. Ducks in 5.

rootin for fat benny and seguin, but i suspect benn would prefer to be out of the playoffs so he can get bombed on vic golf course and go swim in the ocean off the 15th with full clothes on.
 Ducks in 6.

Sure, but Lehtonen > Hiller. Pavelec plays for the jets.

Ducks in six. I think Seguin and Benn can win a couple games on their own, but not nearly enough weapons to compete in a series with Anaheim.
Hiller might not even get the start for the Ducks, so don't rush to any conclusions involving him quite yet. Most of the western conference teams have had shaky goaltending down the stretch, which is why the Avs might have the advantage right now with Varlamov's excellent season.

Yeah, and then for extra insurance in case Lehtonen gets hurt. Theres some guy named Tim Thomas waiting in the wings.
Dallas has been my Darkhorse pick all year. I riding that prediction. Also, don't forget Nichushkin, He could light it up too.

EDIT: And I also would find it extremely funny if Lindy Ruff managed to win a cup with the Stars.

Also they have Thomas who has stolen a few series in his time. Dallas goaltending has a lot of potential in the playoffs.

Anaheim could bust in my view. They could be great but it's a weird team.

I'm taking Dallas in 6 due to playoff coaching and goaltending. Boudreau (.455) vs Ruff (.564)

Anaheim has been pretty average lately and Hiller's play has dropped fairly significantly. I'm going with Dallas in 6.

Dallas seems like a good match-up for Anaheim to get. The Benn-Seguin line is good but it isn't Getzlaf-Perry. The Ducks inexperienced defense gets a break with the other 3 lines not being much of a concern to match-up against.
 Anaheim in 6
