2013 Honda CRV (on lease)
2008 Audi A4
Fairly happy with both, but have the luxury of not having a very far commute (for both wife/me) and plenty of working from home, so we don't put more than 5-10k on either ride.

Blasphemous....the E30 M3 is an icon, although granted more for its handling prowess.
The late E87 BMW 1M is sure to be a future collectable as well..would love to ad one to my garage one day.

There's a market for the run flats? I want the Michelin PSSs but my wife doesn't want the run flat tires in the garage going to waste. I wonder what I should list them for on kijiji.

A lot. BMW dealers have been sticking it up peoples tail pipe to the tune of $4-500 a corner for those hell spawn POS's. And they pay without blinking. Some people just want the warranty spec tires, and will blindly use whatever the dealer suggests.
You could easily get $250 a corner for new 18" take offs IMHO. Just make sure you go to a tire shop that can handle taking off run-flats without wrecking the tires, and your rims.

The Pilot Super Sports are awesome tires. Whatever you do with the terrible run-flats, you need to get these.

Where did you get it done? How much?

thanks
it's not just the pic - the paint does look excellent. the guy that did the painting usually specializes in custom built hot rods and stuff like that, so i knew he'd do an awesome job on my truck.
i got it done here, in kelowna. i think all said and done it was $3500 - $4000. that's for all the body work (new driver's door, new cab corners on both sides, new hood, etc.), prep, priming and painting
i'm on a chevy truck forum and have a "build thread" for those that are interested
my truck has come a looooong way since i bought it in 1997

bc-chris I just finished drooling over your build thread. Beautiful. Very well done and tasteful. Making me miss my GMT-400.
When you replaced the engine did you go with a Vortec or the same 350 from an '89?

Need advice for next car! Pretty vague statement I know haha Anyways I've owned a g35x and a 335xi being my most recent. Now looking for something new.. Any suggestions? Requirements AWD must have decent power. I was looking at an Mercedes C350 or an Audi S4. Not new but maybe 08-10? Around that.

i just dropped in a crate 350
if i had been planning on putting in a new motor (and had budgeted the $$ required to do so) i would have done more than a 350 crate, but since it was rather unexpected i was just just happy to get it back on the road

Take a look at the NEW Volvo Edrive engines in the s60 etc.
They have a turbo AND supercharger...great power and fuel economy like 300+ lbs of torque AND 30MPG or something like that...
The current model year only has the new engine in the FWD models...the 2016's should have the new engine in the AWD trim.

I will for sure! Not sure if I like volvo but that does sound pretty decent. FWD isn't bad either just not RWD. We do live in Calgary after all
