More on this. The whole plane flying thing today is a rouse. Apparently they were here last night. Stagged the Hobey awards from a studio in the bowls of the dome.

My day couldn't get worse.... My boss was let go today, we had Ole Miss track team check out late (30 rooms) and another big group coming in with no rooms available. To boot my GM was doing house keeping manager duties today so we had no direction when this happened.
Unless I get lucky tonight will be the best thing happen to me today..
Today sucked..

I'm also really drunk, so that may have only been funny to me.

Great that he's had some success in his college career but really people. Look at this list. How many of these players were anything in the NHL? 6 or 7? Of them who are real difference makers? 2 players in twenty plus years?
Listen, I hope he's Paul Kariya v.2 ... but lets get real. I really don't get the joy. 99% of people here have never even seen him play. His chances of being an NHL player are pretty small imo. The odds are really against him. Just shaking my head at all the media hype and ridiculous nonsense surrounding a mid round pick signing a contract.
|
hahahaha just because YOU clearly haven't seen him play doesn't mean the rest of us haven't. Sounds like you just learned his name today and looked up his size and draft position lol.

@KristenOdlandCH: Asked Brian Burke what he plans to see from both Arnold and Gaudreau: “I don’t expect much. I won’t be surprised if they’re standing around
@KristenOdlandCH: looking at traffic and trying to figure out how to merge. It’s not unusual for a kid to be starstruck in his first game"

no kidding, when he was drafted he wasn't predicted to be the best player in all of NCAA hockey by a country mile.
I've seen him play a few times including when he absolutely dominated canada at the world juniors TWO YEARS AGO (they had a couple big guys) and I have seen hit absolutely dominate every NCAA game I have ever seen him play.
I can guarantee you other teams were hoping he would go to free agency so they could have a crack

These posts get old really fast, who cares if that's what you think. People are excited, they aren't wrong for it. First he will never sign, now that he does, we get the he won't pan out posts. Guess you're a NHL scout

Good thing every wet blanket adds that line to soften the harsh blow of reality they dutifully bestow upon the rest of us.
