Hm.. The only Flames media guy I expected to be in doubt of an imminent signing at this point was Eric Francis, as it's his duty to oppose anything and everything positive for the organization and fans. Any specific reason why they think he's leaning that way?

I'm fully expecting both signings to be announced at the same time (hence why we haven't heard about Arnold yet).. but when is the question.. Not like announcing it before the ceremony can hurt Gaudreau's chances since the winner has already been decided.

He really wouldn't know one way or another. Just relax his season is barely over and there is lots of time to sign to be here on Sunday. If he isn't signed by tomorrow night then start to question it.

It's ironic because Pinder keeps saying matter-of-factly that Johnny will walk away with the Hobey Baker.

I want him to win and he's certainly looking like the favorite, but the panel can choose anyone of the Hat Trick Finalists if they deem them fit. They tend to favor Seniors.

You're kidding yourself if you don't believe Gaudreau is winning the HB. No one has had a comparable season in 20 years of hockey.

If he does sign I really doubt it will be before he's awarded the Hobey. He's probably made up his mind one way or the other, but I'm guessing we won't know until tomorrow at the earliest. Hope I'm wrong and we find out tonight.

Could they have a little fun and live stream Arnold and Gaudreau signing back to the jumbotron in Calgary during one of the intermissions.
