The Habs know they will be playing the Lightning
in round 1. They need to win this game to improve
their chances of getting home ice advantage.

This could be a first round playoff series between
these division rivals. The Blues have not clinched
first place in their division, conference, and overall yet.

It is the Kings at Oilers and it is a "who cares" game. The gamble TSN
made last August was terrible. More than half of the TSN Oilers' games
are in the last month of the regular season.

________________________________________________

1700h---Sabres at Rangers
The Rangers can finish second or third in their division
or finish in one of the wild card placings.

1730h---Flyers at Lightning
The Flyers are in the same position as the Rangers

1800h---Coyotes at Predators
It is a must win for Phoenix to catch the Stars for
the final playoff spot.

1800h---Bruins at Jets

The Bruins magic number is three for to clinch the
President's Trophy.

2000h---Avalanche at Canucks
The Avalanche are still in the race to win their division,
conference, and the league.

The who cares games
Capitals at Hurricanes
Leafs at Panthers
Devils at Senators

This isn't a who cares game. We need a Carolina win.

Yup, the Isles are garbage and are probably a lock for the 4th pick.

Carolina however is also garbage and could tank all the way down past the Flames. Which is exactly what they did last year.

What are the chances of Winnipeg, Carolina or NYI winning a game tonight?

The 4th pick hope has sailed, just hope we stay at 5 instead of dropping to 7.

Carolina is down 5-1 in the 3rd period. Lol...Say goodbye to a top 5 pick, folks.

Unreal that the Hurricanes with Semin, the Staal bros, Skinner and Ward are even in the same discussion as the Flames who are icing half an AHL roster. And for the second year in a row they 'miraculously' start tumbling down the standings once their playoff hopes are dashed.

Shameful.

Skinner is so damn overrated. Kid can't play defence worth a damn. He looks completely lost whenever he's in the defensive zone. Like honestly the worst defensive player I have watched in a very long time. Kid has talent but he isn't NHL ready even if he has 30 or so goals. He cheats at every opportunity.

Also, NYI are up 2-0 for those who are still holding out hope there.

Also Ovechkin finishes -2 in a 5-2 win with no powerplay goals scored for either team.

Hilarity would be the Islanders passing us at the end only after we passed Carolina and the Jets.

Forum curse is alive and well.

RNH with another defensive fail. What's funny is that many Oilers fans actually believe he's great defensively...Well, maybe compared to Hall and Yakupov.
