Good on him if that's a true and honest statement about not focusing on signing, especially with all the external pressures he's had with the media and fans the past few months. You want him to focus on the season at hand, be 100% engaged with what's happening now, not worrying about where he's going to be next September. Now that his season is actually done he can honestly reflect on it and decide if he feels he's done with College hockey. I hope he makes the right decision...

Means schools out for summer, that's all. Generally you need new text books for each semesters classes, so I wouldn't read into that. He should have sold them at the used bookstore though got some money back..........or maybe he now knows money ain't a thing for him.........

The closer his decision is to the loss the more the emotion of losing might play into it. I'd prefer he take his time. He won't gain anything for development from another year at BC, so it would basically be unfinished business in the attempt to win a second title. Just this time without Arnold and Hayes.

Fortunately I don't think there could be a better person for this situation than Conroy right now. He had the college experience, probably was just as big a man on campus in Clarkson as Johnny was in BC, and he knows what it takes for the NHL. Plus he's probably the easiest person in the world to talk to. In the emotional state he's in right now Conroy will be the one he listens to from the Flames side.
