Yep, I noticed on more than a couple occasions that Johnny would be open and Hayes would do everything but pass it to him. Almost like he is jealous or something? He also made some bad plays that ended up on Union sticks.

OMG Gaudreau almost tied it. That would have been superhuman.
Union deserved to win that game. They were definitely the better team all 60 minutes.

No. It is only icing if the team who ices it has no chance at the puck.
Edit: oops thought you meant hybrid icing. But they don't use no touch icing anyways.

The NCAA icing rule isn't exactly the same as the NHL rule. They use the blue line as the line to race for... and the team that iced it has to be clearly going to win the race or else it is icing.
(didn't see the play in this game to judge)
