I agree Morgan Reilly has more offensive upside. But fleury is just a more nhl style defenceman and I think Reilly is a bad comparison because they play completely different games. Think Jacob trouba.

And just so you all know. I have dal colle 5 still. But I think fleury is a close number 6 and he helps our team. I'm just saying he's a lot better prospect than he is given credit for on here and I'm just trying to get you to entertain the idea that the flames might pick this guy, especially if we don't even end up picking fifth.

The one guy that actually tried to criticize fleury rater than me said he wasn't a great skater. he is a great skater. Smoother on his skates and better in transition than ekblad.

CP is not a single entity. In the 2012 draft we were pretty well all over the board in terms of who to pick in any scenario. So maybe you're having trouble because you are trying to argue with CP?

I just think he's a good prospect okay. And I've been playing and watching hockey since I was 3 and consider myself a pretty good evaluator of young talent. The guy is almost a clone to Jacob trouba in his draft year. I just think he's another option for the flames if dal Colle or draisatl turns out to be the wrong fit.

Nobody has to give you anything. You also laughed and said there was "no way" Horvat would be picked before Zadarov. Horvat was picked 9th, Zadarov? 16th.

You sound so stupid when you keep saying CP as though it is some sort of collective group think.

There are a ton of people here saying Fleury is a fine prospect just not top 5 (like what every draft ranking has him at).

Ekblad is the guy most people want here despite most places having Reinhart or Bennett first.

Every single fan base in every single sport prefers the flashy pick over a steady/solid guy. That isn't a CP issue. Oiler fans aren't drooling over Fleury saying screw Reinhart and Bennett. Red wing fans are hoping for the next Datsyuk not the next Fetisov.

You can keep whining about CP as some sort of Borg like mind about prospects but the number if different votes from that Collberg thread you love so much shows just how little basis there is for your BS CP thinks statements.

I think CP does have a tendency to be weary of picking defencemen early based on the historical data.

Over the past 20 years or so, its usually the case that defencemen picked in the top 10 don't pan out as well as forwards.

Yeah ok but I would wayyy rather have a lot of prospects than horvat that were picked after him. It's not my fault gillis didn't pick nichuskib zadorov morin or one of the other top guys. Horvat is meh if you ask me. I like zadorov way more.
