Ramo shut the door yet again. He's made a strong case for being a legit #1 goalie in this league.

I guess he hasn't seen the Flames play yet this year. They play every game like they are playing for the Cup. YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME.

They way he's played since coming back and his ankle getting stronger from the surgery before camp. Imagine more skill in front of him with this work ethic Damn...

You don't understand. I'm not saying they should have just rolled over for NJ. I wouldn't want them to do that if they were playing Columbus. But teams like Calgary, CONSTANTLY missing the playoffs, all they seem to do is just eat up the spoiler role year after year after year after year. I'd hate NJ to become a team like that. This game meant so much more to NJ and you have Calgary battling like crazy in this game for what exactly? The way they were just trying to clear the defensive zone late in the third period, you would actually think they had something to play for. But they never ****ing do. Ever.

Basically "I'm not saying they should have just rolled over, but they shouldn't have tried"
This guy is comedic gold. I bet he's just frothing at the mouth at his keyboard.

I like how many people think NJ should have rolled over the Flames because they're a much better team. 34 wins each. And the Flames have played better since the Olympic break.

Is the rebuild over lol. This team should be worse than buffalo, and they're winning!
Guys, let's go sign Jagr or something.

Devils are a garbage team. Oldest team in the league and still can't make the playoffs and seem to be going nowhere but middling 9-12 place like the Flames were post-rebuilt. IMO they don't deserve any playoff revenue for undeservedly getting that 1st round draft pick back.

He must be a Canucks fan who jumped the bandwagon early. Love fans that don't realize that Calgary has only missed 4 years of playoffs, and that they are rebuilding not only the roster, but the compete level as well.
The guy needs a lesson or 3 on NHL competition and what it's supposed to look like. Tonight was the first lesson.
It's not Calgary's fault his team #### the bed the rest of the season.

They have a fluke finals run to break up a decade of irrelevance. They're not exactly some pinnacle franchise. He's just too butthurt to realize.

Well it's not only him. I guess the ones that make me schadenfreude is the comments about Ramo being a 3rd class goaltender, and how it's impossible for him to shut the door on a 'powerhouse' team like theirs.
Most fans of other teams don't realize Ramo's potential. He's largely an unknown, but he's certainly revealing his true colours to us Flames fans.

I have two thoughts.
1) go watch the latest Michael Dal Colle highlight reel in the Craig's list thread and fall in love with him. He's gonna be our guy at #5.
2) Mike Cammalleri has single handedly driven up prices for next years trade deadline.

If NJ played in the west they would likely finish around where the oilers are. They have the second least wins against the west. Only buffalo has less (7 for Buffalo and 8 for NJ).

1 win back of the Canucks, who're still fighting for a 0.1% chance of making the playoffs.
Is it crazy to think we'll be in the playoff hunt for a good portion of next season? I don't think so. Take away some late collapses earlier in the year at the hands of the Berra experiment and we're right in the thick of it this year.

Put Calgary in the East and New Jersey in the West and the Flames are way ahead of them in the standings.

Few players show such a marked difference before and after. He may have underestimated the value of his limited playoff resume vs year to date pre deadline, then realized it was a contract year and was now or never.
