That's as blatant an elbow/intent to injure as I have seen since Stevens was on the ice. That should have been an easy 15 games. The Gorram Wheel of Justice spins again. You spineless coward Shanaban.

Should have been suspended for the rest of the regular season and maybe a playoff series. Are you able to suspend someone from a playoff series, making the suspension vary from 4-7 games?

If you were to look up in the dictionary the type of hit the NHL wants to remove, you'd see this. What a joke of a suspension.
I've noticed that ever since Shanahan started this job, when he started he was handing down tough, long suspensions. Suspensions that made me think the NHL was on the right path. But it seems as time goes on, and I don't know if it's GMs complaining or the NHLPA, but suspensions are getting shorter and shorter, even though the same style hits are happening. 3 games? Ridiculous.
