So Conan had Fred Armison and Carrie Brownstein on this week. Maybe it was because Carrie was there that they didn't touch the late night topic, but I was a little disappointed there was no mention of it.
I mean, it was Conan's old show, and Fred's now the band leader, you'd think they could have at least acknowledged it and just briefly spoke about it.
Not a huge deal, I guess. Just seemed like a very obvious leave out for that interview.
@rickygervais: Watch my interview with the hilarious @CraigyFerg tonight. I use the term "interview" loosely. It was more like an argument outside a pub.
All of Ferguson's interviews are like that. Part of the reason I can't truly get into it often. He's more scattered than Conan. Sometimes Iit pays off, but more often then not I saying 'shut up and let the guest make his point'
The Daily Show isn't a liberal show. It's hosted by someone with a liberal viewpoint, but they still go after Obama and democrats when they do stupid stuff. Usually though the Republicans offer them far more ammunition to work with. If they make this show as another Republican propaganda piece like everything else on Fox News it'll fail
Even I will admit, The Daily Show does swing slightly liberal.
Agreed they have gone after Obama. Significantly more than just to appear balanced.
Also agree, the far right (guns and god) gives far much more to work with.
It makes me sad, but it does appear that facts have a liberal bias.
However, they do swing left. There is greater scrutiny of the right. And I can admit this.
