Dioner Navarro is a professional MLB catcher. That is all. What a significant upgrade from that JP guy.
And I am really impressed with the Jays' new hitting approach. Is this Kevin Seitzer's philosophy? Being patient at the plate and getting to the bullpen as early as possible? If it is, then I am loving it! I hated Murphy's "rip it and grip it" hitting approach.

A couple really nice at bats from Lawrie and Izturis. That catch by Lawrie was impressive.

that was a lot of switches and changes for Cabrera to one pitch fly-out. kind of dissapointed with that

Buehrle really economical so far. 70 pitches through 6 innings.

Awesome game so far. Buehrle pitching stingy and the batters really working into some counts. Bautista bombs go without saying.

I know it is early but based on previous season struggles TB has to be somewhat worried about their offense. They have struggled two nights in a row to get hits off of two very mediocre pitchers.
They are a trendy WS pick but if this is the best their offense has they will not come close to making the play-offs.

Looks like he runs with the "Giambi" crowd now, not that they ever had huge beards that I remember.

Buehrle, wow, what a game. Hope that's a sign of things to come this year.

Come on Sergio, you can close this! Tampa Bay is just a tough team to beat...they never quit.
Cecil vs. Lefty? I'm calling it now...GAME OVER. Cecil's splits against LHB are phenomenal except for 2011-2012.

Gibby's BP management + the 2014 Blue Jays Bullpen = best BP in the AL EAST. Hands down. A split in Tropicana already feels like a sweep. Time for the real Brandon Morrow to show up tomorrow and end this horrible Tropicana Field curse once and for all!

If you said I could have a split in the Trop, I'd take it every time. Now lets go win this son of a bitch.

Hutchison and Beuhrle are mediocre? Hutchison has had less then 20 starts at this level, how can you determine already what type of pitcher he is? Beuhrle has pitched for 15 years at this level with a career era under 4. Neither can be described as mediocre.

Gotta like the pitching the Jays have had over the past two games! Loved seeing Buerhle set a personal 'first game of the season' strikeout record. Have also been enjoying the patience hitters have shown at the plate, but I hope they can get diversify the offense a little .. a lot of runs coming via home run so far.
