I went to the new Walmart at 17 Ave SE & Stoney Trail today and didn't like it at all. Bad parking lot design, small store with tight isles and only one entrance. No McDonalds either, sorry Chestermere.

Wal-Mart is the one upside to Lethbridge, an otherwise filthy city. Both its Supercentres are clean and "modern," as it were. Lots of self-checkouts, wide aisles, etc.

Umm could it be that she doesn't want to hurt your feelings and just wants to be friends? This way, you get the memo and she may not lose a friend

Seems to be the case. Just never had it happen to me, wasn't quite sure how to respond. So I posted it on CP.

Looky here, we've got ourselves an alphamale. Good point, everytime I went to the grocery store it was just me and a couple dozen women. I always wondered why I was the only guy in there.
.....Then the 1940's ended.

I go back to MMF's question; What's wrong with grocery shopping? I personally like getting everything I want/seeing things I didn't plan on getting, all that.
Maybe you haven't been to a grocery store in years, but there's usually a pretty even split between guys and girls.
Not a huge deal, I guess. It's more the way you phrased it. Your comment seemed straight out of 50 years ago.
