When the Price is right you have to act Quick.

In a move that many believed would never happen, the Pittsburgh Penguins have dealt their franchise player and longtime starting goalie Carey Price.
Price heads to Anahiem along with Pavel Datsyuk for Jonathan Quick and Henrik Sedin.
For the Pens, this was a sim move. We traded out every other position on our roster except our goalie. I wanna see if Quick can thrive here and also if Price can lead Anaheim to the glory.
As hard as it was to make it was a deal needed to test sim chemistry and also to shake up two teams that have not been playing up to their potential the past few weeks.

Will we see one team falter and another flourish, two teams succeed or two teams fail. Time will tell. But both teams have one goal. Cup or bust.

Really surprised Ravi moved Quick after the season he's been having for him in Anaheim.

2 solid GMs in search of their first titles. Lets see if this helps either of you.

Huge blockbuster between two playoff bound teams. Ducks are 4-6 in the past 10 and really have been average over the past 5-6 weeks. Quick has stellar stats for us but lately hasn't been as strong as he was earlier. We are hoping the Sedin-Datsyuk swap in this deal will bring us a 2 way player who will limit shots against while also being deadly in the offensive end. Carey Price can come in and hopefully will be a steady presence in net and lead the Ducks to the playoffs.

Quick has been with us for years and his tenure included CPHL Finals appearances but we were never able to win. Hopefully after this move both these clubs will be in the finals in a couple months!

Didn't think Pitt would move price when he went on the block. Also didn't imagine him getting an upgrade like Quick. Timing of the deal makes it a very interesting one.

In a funny flashback, here is the horrible trade that I made to move Quick the first time I had him. Note at the time this deal really bolstered my roster and paid off in the sim, but in hindsight it is pretty gross haha
