Leveling up my Crusader, I forgot how horribly OP my level 15 amulet is, especially for melee characters.

A few questions.. is it worthwhile keeping any low level gems now? Seeing what the default drops at lvl 61 are...

Also, is it better to do the campaign still when starting a new character? Or is adventure mode better (or even possible, I didn't even try)?

Adventure mode IMO, thats what I did to level my crusader today

I sold almost all mine as well, kept a few for now until I am sure I have enough for anything that comes up, since I don't have a huge stock of the others yet, but they will be useless I am sure .

Yesterday was a huge day for my Barb. Trifecta set gloves, Trifecta neck with the arcane now heals you for the damage done, and Trifecta Ring with the set bonuses now require 1 less piece. That plus a few rerolls on my yellow weapons and i'm now at 800k DPS with 1.1 Million DPS with 3 or more mobs around me.

I finally got my last born's key to complete the set. Nothing special with the shoulders but now I got an additional 10% cool down. Designed a fun build around long cool down skills now that there's only a couple second wait in between using them.

Anyone leveling under 60 characters, any chance you could trade me some exquisite essences? Not much left to trade but I got a lot of brimstones or maybe I could invite you to some near cleared bounty games so you can pick up the Horadric Cache quickly. Let me know if we can work something out.

Oh wow, they weren't just trifecta gloves but IK gloves. With your ring the next piece you get already bumps you to that 3 piece bonus, awesome.

From my understanding it only is available through Horadric Caches (after completing the 5 bounties) from act 1. I would be interested in farming for it, doing torment 1 bounties as quickly as possibly if anyone else was up for it with me.

Farming torment 1 is the same as farming normal. The horadric caches drop loot based on your character's level, not on the level they were received.

So farm normal.

You can only get the good set items in torment 1 and higher, enough reason for me to do it.

Also, I'm pretty certain that the Caches from higher torment are a bit different. I rarely get imperial gems from the torment 1 ones but see quite a few when I was doing torment 3. Might be a confirmation bias though.

Interesting, I don't remember where I got it but I did get my first cache legendary yesterday and I always do Act 1 so it's probably correct.

Edit: how many exquisites are you looking for? I have 1000

Is it safe to assume the caches drop gear according to who earned them, or can a different character open them and get more suitable rewards?

anyone done any testing?

edit: Did a quick test and my DH (lvl 65)clearly got specific loot for him by opening caches my wizards earned, although at the level of my Wizard (lvl 70)

Yeah I saw a few videos about that, the level of the gear is determined when it drops, but whoever opens it will determine what class the stats are slanted towards.
