People say this kind of thing about Kerr all the time.

10 out of 10 IMO, and I think the Flames are lucky to have her.
This is the same way I feel. Her personality and ability to get candid responses when interviewing players is a breath of fresh air. A touch of "buddy buddy", but still professional.

Big difference between saying someone has a 5 dollar hair cut or wears bad suits vs saying someone is ugly.

Alex was hotter, just IMO. But Kristin is pretty knowledgable and does an excellent job with each game and segment. Definitely worth keeping around.

I think some of you go deaf when you see a blond girl with a fake tan:

Kristen: "So you scored twice tonight. That must have felt great. How did it feel?"
Player: "Great"
Kristen: "The crowd was abso-luuutley rockin' tonight! How was it playing in front of them?"
Player: "Great. Our fans are the best."
Kristen: "It was quite a battle tonight facing a team like them. How was it out there?"
Player: "Yup. Good team. Great to win."
Kristen: "That was quite the goal you scored, how did it feel?"
Player: "Great"

I definitely agree that a lot of interviews go like that, however it's not her job to create a personality for the player. I'd say you're kind of cherry picking the body of work though because she does ask about the relationships between players and get a few more candid responses, depending on the player. Even though it was just a bit of fun, if you saw that little video they posted where she asked a lot of players what they thought about TJ Galiardi being in that fashion mag, it clearly showed a lot about the feel of the room and was revealing in a very light-hearted way that was fun to watch.

At the end of the day fans want to know more about the players and what they're like as people, her job is to assist in revealing that process.

Sorry, I beleive your point was that they degraded his hockey opinions based on looks. Or was I mistaken?

Are you suggesting that the answers would be better if it was someone other than KH asking them? Because this example sounds like pretty much every interview with a hockey player that I have ever seen

Why is it a sin to comment on someones looks? I've worked for some attractive female managers who were not very good at thier jobs. Just because I might think a women is cute doesn't impair my judgement of weather they are good or not good at thier job.

It's also the only reason Colin Ferrell keeps getting movie roles.
