When you get shelled that bad, you need to do some reconstruction. Just ask Dresden.

In their defense it was league-mandated day off, Hall took his cousin to see The Lego Movie! Cause you know, everything is awesome with the Oilers right now.

Awesome the Leafs could very well be outside the top 8 with the other teams having games in hand after tonight. Everything truly is awesome! St. Louis with 40 shots after two periods.

I know the Leafs fans think we're in a bad spot, but comparatively they seem to a look a whole lot worse than we do against the superior competition out west. They just have the benefit of getting more points against the mediocre competition they usually play in the east.

Anyone watching the Leafs game they told a story of the Windsor Spitfires goalie tonight. They are/were getting creamed. The goalie wanted to be pulled after 6.. they wouldn't take him out. Let in two more... finally gets yanked and just leaves the ice, goes to the room and goes home.

And the LEafs have given up 40 shots with 17 minutes to go in the 3rd.

This McDonalds Steak commercial bothers me. No way a boss whose office is eye level with a billboard has the clout to have an assistant wipe his face with a napkin for him.

Anyone else find it hard to tell the difference between Steen and Backlund on the ice? I mean, other than the obvious Jersey difference.

Islanders beat Carolina 5-4. No points for Carolina unfortunately, but seeing as the Islanders are the only team with a hope of catching us, +1 for the OOT so far.

Every year I get NHLCI and I regret it, until this time of year, then I so glad that I have it. Channel surfing...

I think it's adorable how the Oilers have come out playing so hard for these first four minutes, getting a 1-0 lead. I give it about 10 minutes until they go back to the 'mail it in' strategy.

BJs stuck with McBackup as Bobrovsky left the game sick.

This is the 6th year he's played NHL games... pulling out a decent little career.

man oh man, if the leafs keep this up and don't make the postseason heads would have to roll... likely carlyle and his coaching staff.

San Jose looks awful so far this game. Time for them to wake up and start dictating the pace of this game!

Washington with a point in the SOL tonight puts them at 80 points.

Toronto loses and remains at 80 points.

Columbus holds on against Detroit, ending the night at 80 points.

Four teams (Detroit, Washington, Toronto, and Columbus) all at 80 points in a four way tie for the two Eastern Conference wild card spots.

^ All three teams with one or two games in hand as well (on the Leafs).
